The Irving Street Studio entrance has a small flight of stairs. An ADA ramp and accessible entrance is available facing the parking lot at 721 NW 9th Ave Portland Or, 97209.

All-gender single stall bathrooms and an ADA bathroom are available inside the venue.

Spanish interpretation will be provided for the live program via headset. Please reach out to maesie@nwjp.org if you or someone in your party would like to reserve a headset.

Scot Nakagowa in conversation with NWJP board member and Oregon Nurses Association organizer, Jill Pham.

Scot Nakagowa is a political strategist and organizer with over four decades of experience exploring questions of structural racism, white supremacy, and social justice. Scot has deep Oregon roots, reaching back to co-chairing the groundbreaking 1992 No On 9 campaign.

Scot is the co-founder and director of the 22nd Century Initiative, a national strategy and action hub building power at the intersection of opposition to authoritarianism and expanding democratic governance in the U.S. He writes regularly at The Anti-Authoritarian Playbook.
