DONOR ADVISED FUNDS

As a 501(c)(3), NWJP NEED Fund is able to accept donations from Donor Advised Funds (DAFs), one of the fastest-growing vehicles for charitable giving.

Do you have a DAF or are you thinking about opening a fund to streamline your giving and deepen community impact? Reach out to us to set up a one time or recurring donation.

VEHICLE DONATION

Donate your car, truck, motorcycle, RV, boat, plane or other vehicle to NWJP and the proceeds from the sale will support our work. We’ll handle all the details at no charge to you; plus you can receive a tax deduction when you itemize your return.

WORKPLACE GIVING

Does your employer offer a donation match or other incentive?

NWJP is registered on Benevity and other workplace giving platforms.

Reach out to chris@nwjp.org for support.

QUALIFIED CHARITABLE DISTRIBUTION OR IRA ROLLOVER

If you are 70 1/2 or older, you can make an annual transfer from your IRA to NWJP without having to recognize the distribution as income.

If you are subject to required minimum distributions from your IRA, you can use your gift to satisfy all or part of that requirement.

PLANNED GIVING

Consider a legacy gift to empower future generations of workers.

Some of planned giving options include Naming NWJP as a beneficiary of your retirement plan or life insurance policy. Making a bequest through a will, a trust, or an estate plan that designates a gift to NWJP.

STOCKS AND MUTUAL FUNDS

NWJP accepts donations of publicly traded stock and mutual funds.

Please reach out to chris@nwjp.org to arrange a donation.

CY PRES AWARDS

NWJP is eligible to receive distributions of leftover or unclaimed funds from class action settlements.

And this just in…

Starting in the 2026 tax year, you can now deduct up to $1,000 (single filers) or $2,000 (married filing jointly) in qualified charitable donations even if you take the standard deduction. That means charitable giving can reduce your taxable income even if you do not itemize.
